Marla Slayton, CRNP, received her Registered Nurse diploma from Shadyside Hospital School of Nursing in 1988. She then went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995 and Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner in 1999. Marla has served the Pittsburgh community as a nurse practitioner for over 23 years and has experience treating patients with chronic kidney disease. When not working she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to beach, hiking in the mountains and drinking good coffee.
